Man buys Old Container for $500 and finds $7.5 Million inside
A man who bought an old container for $500 got the best surprise of his life: he found $7.5 million inside!

What a stroke of luck!
A man - whose identity has not been revealed - got the surprise of his life when he bought a container for $500 and found nothing more and nothing less than $7.5 million in cash when he opened it.
The man acquired the container through an auction from Dan Dotson, the famed “ Storage Wars ” auctioneer. In fact, it was he who shared the story through his social networks From him.
“An older Asian woman, who was sitting at the table next to me, kept looking at me as if she wanted to tell me something. She at one point came up to me and told me that her husband worked with a man who had bought a unit from me for $500 and found a safe inside,” she continued.
“I guess the first person they called to open it couldn't or didn't. They called a second person to open it, and when they managed to do so, they found that the safe, which is usually empty, was not in this case,” he said, adding that the man found $7.5 million in cash.
The man couldn't keep the money
Unfortunately, the pleasure was short-lived, as the former owner of the container realized his mistake and sought out the man to get his money back. The first offer from his lawyers was a $600,000 reward, but the man turned it down.
However, the person in question agreed to the second deal: $1.2 million on the condition that he return the remaining $6.3 million in the safe.
Although this case is not part of the “ Storage Wars ” program, the news spread throughout the team and Rene Nezhoda, the co-star of the show, said that he would not be surprised if the money is related to some criminal group because, “if you find a sum of money like that, surely there are reasons why it should not be kept inside the bank”.
