Several companies publish their semi-annual reports today. Yle follows the result date in this article.

Network equipment manufacturer Nokia's comparable operating profit in April-June was 714 million euros, while it was 682 million euros at the same time a year ago. The company's turnover rose to 5.87 billion euros in the second quarter of the year, compared to 5.31 billion euros a year earlier.

Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark says he is satisfied with the strong result of the second quarter.

The company states that its risk factors in the future include the intensity of competition, which is expected to continue strong.

Also at risk is the company's ability to procure standard components, such as semiconductors, and their costs and disruptions in the global supply chain.
