The Department of Defense did not confirm Yelle Milley’s visit or its schedule, citing security reasons.
After visiting Finland, Milley will travel to Sweden, where she will talk to Peter Hultqvist, the Swedish Minister of Defense, and take part in an international military exercise. There are no troops from Finland involved in the exercise.
Milley is on her way to Europe, where she will attend the celebrations of the reign of Queen Elizabeth of England today.
Milley commented on the situation in Ukraine in London. According to him, participating militarily in the liberation of the port of Odesa would be a "high-risk operation".
