According to the labor market forecast of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the employment rate will rise to 73.7 percent this year.

In Finland, employment is improving, says the labor market forecast of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (MEE). This year, the employment rate is forecast to rise to 73.7 percent. In 2024, the employment rate will rise to 74.3 percent.

The government aims for a 75 percent employment rate by the middle of the decade.

Youth unemployment is forecast to fall to historically low levels in 2024, lower than at any time since the recession of the 1990s.
