Dome Karukoski remembers Antti Litja - one feature of his favorite actor made a special impression
According to the film director, Litja was one of the best Actors he has ever worked with.
FILM DIRECTOR Dome Karukoski worked with actor Antti Litja while making the film Mielsäpahoidat.
The film, which premiered in 2014, was Litja's last work on the big screen, who died on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
- He is certainly one of the best actors I have had the honor of working with and will ever work with, says Karukoski.
The director describes Litja as extremely skilled in her work and a humane and warm-hearted person.
- What caught Antissa's eye in a good way was her experience-rich childhood and youth. There was certain wisdom present in his work and in him as a person, which brought something beautiful to the directing situation and the atmosphere of the film.
According to Karukoski, Litja always kept her feet on the ground despite the attention and success she received.
- His humility was really instructive. Despite all the success he had, he was incredibly humble and taught me a lot about keeping my feet on the ground. He was a wonderful person, Karukoski concludes.
