The legal team of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard met on Friday in a Fairfax, Virginia courtroom. The meeting was to finalize a settlement after the defamation trial last month but it turned out to be unsuccessful. Heard’s lawyer said that they would gather more evidence before submitting official paperwork in order to appeal the outcome.

On Friday, the legal teams of Heard and ex-husband Johnny Depp (who is also involved in the defamation trial as a plaintiff) met in a Fairfax, VA courtroom with Judge Penney Azcarate. She presented a binder of notes from her therapist claiming that previous domestic violence incidents provided context for Depp’s actions.
